Taking a short 5 day hiatus. Had a really good garage sale, but the house is a mess and we still have another day of the garage sale. I hope everyone is doing well!
I feel really bad that I forgot to post this, but just popping in really quick to say we're in the process of moving so I will be taking a short hiatus. Should be good to return the week after memorial day, if not earlier. Just to be safe and so it gives us time to put stuff away and clean the other rental thoroughly. Unfortunately it may be in vain because the damned groundhogs have messed up the front porch in places, but we're still hoping to get our deposit back. Please pray or send good thoughts our way that we get our deposit back >,<

I hope everyone is doing good!

comments

Well... Happy Belated Earth Day <s>because I'm always late to the punch >.<</s>

Today was very very lowkey. <strike>I mean isn't mostly every day lowkey with hubs and I??</strike> We don't do a whole lot outside listen to music/podcasts, video games and youtube. Here and there, we will do projects together such as what I'm posting about today. But most projects that happen here are sewing and craft projects that's really only...single player? Lol.

Anyway! The this project was something I've been wanting to do for a while, I just figured it would be a good earth day project. <s>I wanted to plant a tree on that day but didn't have money to go buy said tree </s> So to start, I'm huge on recycling if I can. I never used to be this way, but after seeing videos of trash in the ocean, animals and ocean life suffering and the amount of shit in landfills, it kind of causes some to BSOD -- a blue screen of death -- and have a huuuuge change of heart. I'm huge on recycling now. I've been saving toilet paper rolls for planting seeds and making tubes for a bee house. I'm proud of me though, I put that to use today! The only reason I'm proud is I do like to recycle but sometimes things I want to upcycle just sit around in craft totes and never get touched. I'm horrible at this. (Fair warning, the rest of this post is image <s>and ramble</s> heavy.)
( Green thumb much? )

comments

So I trimmed up some looooong dead journals from dreawidth. These were people who's last update was 2014/15, but I'm having some...issue with friend cuts that I'll address in a later post, but for now, it's done.

However, if you would like back in, please leave me a comment on this post.
